When does GTA 6 come out?
Thursday, November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar set the date in November 2025, and Take-Two reiterated it in its August 2026 earnings release.
When can I pre-load GTA 6?
From November 12, 2026, if you pre-order a digital copy. Turn on automatic downloads, set the console as your primary console, and free up storage beforehand so the download can start on its own.
How much does GTA 6 cost?
In the US, the Standard Edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99. Every pre-order, and any purchase made before November 20, 2026, also includes the Vintage Vice City Pack on either edition.
How big is GTA 6 on PS5?
Rockstar has not published an official install size. Plan for roughly 150 to 200GB, and free up at least about 200GB before pre-load opens so a launch-day patch also fits.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC or PS4?
Not at launch. Sony states GTA 6 will not be playable on PS4, and no PC version appears in Take-Two's announced release lineup. Rockstar has brought earlier games to PC later: GTA 5 took about 19 months and Red Dead Redemption 2 about 13.
