Why the unlock time is not confirmed yet
Rockstar rarely announces launch logistics months in advance. For Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V's re-releases, specific unlock times appeared 2 to 4 weeks before launch, sometimes via the Rockstar newswire or through platform store listings that quietly update ahead of official announcements.
Historically, major Rockstar titles have used time-zone-based rolling midnight unlocks, meaning players in each region unlock the game at midnight in their local time. But a simultaneous global unlock is also possible, and some publishers have shifted to that model in recent years. We do not know which structure Rockstar will use until they confirm it.
The safest approach: keep the GTA 6 hub bookmarked and check it 3 to 4 weeks before November 19. That is when the unlock information is most likely to appear.
What to do before launch night
