Saints Row: The Third Cheats

Saints Row: The Third has 90 typed cheats, and every one is a plain word entered on the in-game phone under Extras, Cheats, Add Cheat. The words are the same in the 2011 game on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, in The Full Package on Switch and in Saints Row: The Third Remastered on PC, PS4, Xbox One and the newer consoles. Once a word is accepted, the cheat is saved in the Cheats list and you switch it on from there. The list covers money and respect, police and gang notoriety, weapons, 34 spawnable vehicles, weather and world effects such as zombie pedestrians, plus seven Invincible Pack toggles (Never Die, Unlimited Ammo and others) that have no word to type.

Before you use cheats: Switching on any cheat turns off autosave and blocks achievements and trophies, and switching the cheat off does not bring the achievements back. GameFAQs warns the block can stay on the save you cheated on, so make a manual save and keep a clean save from before you start; reload it if you want achievements. The Switch version has no achievements or trophies.

How to enter cheats

PlayStation

Open the phone with the Select button on PS3; on PS4 and PS5 it is usually the touchpad (check the controls screen if not). Then choose Extras, then Cheats, then Add Cheat. Type the word with the on-screen keyboard and accept it. The cheat is saved in the Cheats list under its category (Gameplay, Weapons, Vehicles, World): select it there and confirm the prompt to switch it on. Once a cheat is active, trophies are blocked and autosave stops.

Xbox

Open the phone with Back on Xbox 360 or View on Xbox One and Series X|S, then choose Extras, then Cheats, then Add Cheat. Type the word with the on-screen keyboard and accept it. The cheat is saved in the Cheats list under its category: select it there and confirm the prompt to switch it on. Once a cheat is active, achievements are blocked and autosave stops.

Switch

Open the phone, usually with the minus (-) button (check the controls screen if not), then choose Extras, then Cheats, then Add Cheat, type the word and accept it. The cheat is saved in its category folder: select it there to switch it on. The Full Package already includes the Invincible Pack toggles. The Switch has no achievements or trophies to lose, but save manually, because autosave stops while a cheat is active.

PC

Press Tab to open the phone (the View button works on a gamepad), then choose Extras, then Cheats, then Add Cheat. Type the word exactly as shown and accept it. The cheat is saved in the Cheats list under its category: select it there and confirm the prompt to switch it on. This is the same in the 2011 PC version and in Remastered.

Covers all 90 typed cheats found in the Saints Row Wiki's cheat table and a Steam guide's list of the game's own cheats, each confirmed by a third list such as GameFAQs (22 gameplay and world cheats including all weapons, 34 individual weapons and 34 vehicles), plus the 7 Invincible Pack toggles. Left out on purpose: nohud, ticktock, turkeyburgers and givesphere, which some sites print but the wiki marks as disabled and modding threads say need a mod; the misspelled 2011 spawn words (giveembulance, givekanada, givepheonix, givespectre, givesquasar, givecgun); and mod-only words such as givelorenjet. No guide we found reports a typed code that the Remastered added or removed. Its one change is that the Invincible Pack toggles come built in.

FAQ

How do you enter cheats in Saints Row: The Third?

Open the in-game phone, choose Extras, then Cheats, then Add Cheat, type the word and accept it. The cheat is saved in the Cheats list under its category, and you switch it on from there. The phone opens with Tab on PC, Back on Xbox 360, View on Xbox One and Series X|S, Select on PS3, the touchpad on PS4 and PS5, and the minus button on Switch.

What is the money cheat in Saints Row: The Third?

Type cheese. It gives $100,000 each time you switch it on, per the Saints Row Wiki, GameFAQs, PC Gamer and most guides. One Remastered guide prints $10,000, which does not match the other sources. For a big respect boost, type whatitmeanstome.

Do the original cheat codes work in Saints Row: The Third Remastered?

Yes. Guides report that the same typed words work in the original and the Remastered. The Remastered also includes all DLC, so the seven Invincible Pack toggles (Never Die, Unlimited Ammo and others) are in the Cheats menu without typing anything. No guide we found reports a typed code that was added or removed.

Do cheats disable achievements and trophies in Saints Row 3?

Yes. Switching on any cheat turns off autosave and blocks achievements and trophies, and switching the cheat off does not bring the achievements back. Reload a save from before you cheated, because GameFAQs warns the block can stay on the save you cheated on. The Switch version has no achievements or trophies.

How do you spawn a tank in Saints Row: The Third?

Type givechallenger to spawn the Challenger tank. Use open space, because a spawned vehicle can appear on top of you if there is little room.

Is there a god mode cheat in Saints Row: The Third?

Not a typed one that works in the base game. The wiki lists turkeyburgers as God Mode but marks it disabled, and a 2011 modding thread treats it as a hidden cheat. The paid Invincible Pack adds a Never Die toggle, which the Remastered and the Switch Full Package include. The vroom cheat only protects your vehicle.
